ch3f asked: dude we have the same flavor for film.... neopan and portra and MF! lol keep on shooting.!!!
the neopan was a single expired roll i ended up with… i do like what I got with it. hopefully, i’ll try more soon. i’ve got tmax and shanghai and hp5 on the shelf for now - it’ll be a while i guess!
and I’ve got oodles of portra. i love the colours.
kudos to shooting skating with film! it’s not for the faint of heart! i’ve shot, and plan to do more, vintage racing cars. it just seems harder than digital.

Here’s a shot from that previously mentioned walk.
i have finally started working on the film stuff again…i went for a walk around water today in Kits, Vancouver, BC, trying out a new lens (CZJ Sonnar 180mm), a new film (Kodak 400VC), and visiting with a good photo buddy.
i plan on hitting the Lab on Tuesday, with a bunch of film for processing, so we’ll see what comes of that soon. I still have rolls from September (and July, but that’s a different story).

Shot 1 year ago. Already? I need to get out more.
This is part of the first roll of film I shot using my new Arsat 30mm Fish-Eye. Wow! Medium format cameras are cool enough with big bright viewfinders, but it’s a whole new level of amazing with a 180˚ view.
It will be another new learning experience, and a long one, given I can only shoot film with it (so far). I can tell already, just ‘cause it’s a fish-eye, doesn’t make it good. I’m looking forward to finding some unique ways of using it too.
The film is Shanghai GP3 100 (B&W), and it was a cheap Craigslist experiment. I have scanned the whole thing, and am currently slogging through the post work.
I’m trying to get them done so I can print them, somehow, just to say I’ve printed something! I can’t remember the last time… And you know what they say, it’s not a photo until it’s printed.
